I am a sucker for bento boxes and lunch organizers. I love looking through Pinterest at all the creative ways that people make & package lunches. However, I’m not all that creative when it comes to actually putting together lunches for my kids to take to school. Part of the problem is my 9 year old daughter is SUPER picky, the other is I just never know what to make.
Since my 9 year old started school last week, I’ve been able to send her with something new. The Rubbermaid LunchBlox™ Sandwich Kit is a great way to pack all the food that my daughter will eat and have it all organized and still fresh when she goes to eat it at school. The LunchBlox™ comes with 2 Snack Containers, 1 Side Container, 1 Sandwich Container and 1 Medium Blue Ice to keep everything cold. I love that everything snaps together. I can make everything the night before and just snap it all together in the morning.
I also appreciate that the LunchBlox™ is microwave, dishwasher, and freezer safe and is also BPA-free. Being able to take it all apart and wash it in the dishwasher is huge for me. Anything that lets me avoid dishes gets an A+ from me!
Ashlyn, my 9 year old, said she really liked taking it to school. I asked her if all the lids were easy to take off & put back on and she said they were. Nothing leaked out and her sandwich was nice and fresh when she went to eat it.
The LunchBlox™ Sandwich Kit’s sell for $12.99. On the Rubbermaid website, there is a coupon that you can print out and save $1.50! Visit Rubbermaid on Facebook, Twitter & on their Adventures in Organization blog.
