I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Reebok. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
I’m not someone who loves to exercise (if you saw me in person, you’d think “Well, thanks for that tidbit, Captain Obvious!”). But, as a Mom of 3 (homeschooling two, walking the youngest to and from school), errands for the family, work for the blog and everything else that keeps a family going, I need to be comfortable most of the time. I have shoes that are cute but that aren’t great for walking my son to & from school. I also have shoes that are functional but aren’t that cute. I think I have finally found the perfect balance of cute, functional & comfort!
Reebok Skyscape shoes are designed for everyday wear & are great for running errands, heading to the grocery store or picking your kid’s up from school. I ordered my pair online from Kohl’s. I was nervous because honestly, I don’t buy shoes online very often. I like to try them on in the store & walk around for a couple minutes to see if they will support my foot and are comfortable.
When they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at how light they are! Weighing only 5 ounces, you would think that there wouldn’t be enough material to even support your foot, but it’s quite the opposite. The Reebok Skyscape are extremely comfortable and feature Skyspring technology, a unique design architecture to help support your feet. The upper part of the shoe is made in the same way as molded foam bras are but the difference is that they use materials that have been specially made to help with the stresses & strains that we place on our feet every day. The material is a 2-way stretch which creates a soft, comfortable envelope around the top and sides of the foot, allowing for movement & breathability. The sole of the shoes provides cushioning, comfort and flexibility for all-day comfort. They are honestly so comfortable, you’ll forget you’re wearing them!
I chose the Reebok Skyscape in gray because I thought it would go with most of my clothes, but they also have them in blue, black & pink at Kohl’s so there’s lots to choose from! After wearing them after a day of walking to & from school (and then to & from school again in the afternoon), grocery shopping, a trip to the bank, out to lunch with the older two kids & doing things around the house, my feet weren’t tired or cramped like they normally feel after a day like that. Plus, probably my favorite feature is that these shoes are machine washable! After a day of running around or stepping in mud (I’m a bit of a klutz!), I can throw them in the washing machine & pull them out good as new!
