February is American Heart Month. Did you know that heart disease is the #1 killer of women? So often, we hear about cancer but not so much about heart disease. Now, don’t get me wrong…Hearing about cancer is extremely important and affects way too many families. But, heart disease kills more women than all cancers COMBINED! Last year, I started having heart palpitations. I wore a heart monitor and everything. Even though nothing showed up (talk about frustrating!) I still want to take care of my heart & be healthy!
Quaker also has a fantastic sweepstakes that you can enter. All you have to do is watch the video above with Fabio Viviani or view it HERE. Then, share the video on Twitter & make sure you use the hashtag #QuakerLove. You can do this until Feb 28th & you’re entered into the sweepstakes! It’s that easy! What’s the prize? Quaker Oats is giving away a chance for you & a guest to get away for a few days, enjoy some well-deserved spa treatments & dine at Siena Tavern in Chicago. The grand prize winner will be chosen at random from all the participants that watched the above video (or watch it on YouTube HERE) & share it on Twitter using the hashtag #QuakerLove between February 14 and 28.
At the end of February, 15 lucky winners will also be chosen at random. They will receive an “Ultimate Hot Breakfast” prize pack complete with Quaker Oats, signed items from Fabio Viviani, and additional items to help start your day. (Quaker’s Epic Hot Breakfast sweepstakes will open February 14 at 10:00 a.m. CT and close at 11:59 p.m. CT on February 28, 2013.)
Quaker is also having a Twitter party on Tuesday February 19th from 8-9PM EST. The party will be hosted by @ResourcefulMom and @FabioViviani will be the celebrity guest. RSVP here for this great party! Four $50 Visa cards will be given away as prizes so make sure you RSVP!
