Disclosure: I am part of the PTPA Brand Ambassador Program with ESET and I received compensation as part of my affiliation with this group. The opinions on this blog are my own.
Between me, my husband and our three kids, we have A LOT of devices. Between the 5 of us, there are 7 devices and it takes a lot of time and work to make sure that those devices are safe and without issues. With so much talk about phishing, viruses and lost devices, I knew it was time to get something that would help us keep all these devices safe.
What I found was an app called ESET Mobility Security. What I love about ESET is it does so much in one little app (I hate having to download so many apps when just one can do it all!). ESET’s Antivirus technology scans files, websites & emails 24/7 so you can explore the web in confidence knowing that you are protected. Anytime you or your child downloads an app, ESET scans the new app and organizes it with Apps Audit to show permission levels and what information on your phone or tablet they can access. That means never downloading an app with a virus or downloading an app that can view way too much info on your phone or tablet.
I’m sure everyone has gotten at least one email that looks like it’s from a big, well-known company but isn’t actually from them at all. I’ve gotten a lot from a bank that I don’t even use but imagine I did and didn’t know better NOT to input my password, account number, credit card number or more into the email or their phony website? It would be very bad news for my family & our finances. ESET has Anti-Phishing capabilities that blocks bad links thereby shielding your identity and personal data against theft, keeping you & your family safe.
Think about everything you do on your phone or tablet…pay bills, log into your bank account, download personal files and so much more. This is all information that you don’t want to give out to anyone else but without protection on your device, could very easily fall into the wrong hands. If your device is ever lost or stolen ESET has a set of anti-theft tools that make sure your info stays safe and you’ll even have a chance of recovering your device by enabling it to email you notifications, letting you know what it’s current location is so you can track it, sounding an alarm or even completely erasing the contents remotely.
ESET Mobility Security has been given the PTPA (Parent Tested Parent Approved) stamp of approval and that’s a big deal for me because I want to know that I can trust an app that’s going to keep me and my family (and our personal information) safe! Right now, ESET is giving you guys a GREAT deal! Head on over to check out all that ESET has to offer and buy the ESET Mobility Security for $4.95! That’s a 75% savings! By the way, you can use this on up to 5 devices on the same Google Play Account so it’s a fantastic value!

Well, I have a BB10 phone (the Z10 to be exact), and I use the picture password on top of a digit password (if my son tries to play with my phone).
