As a kid, I remember going into little shops and looking at the personalized necklaces, notebooks & license plates for the back of my bike. Tara was usually pretty easy to find (especially since I was born in the late 70’s) but my sisters (Janna & Marisa) had a harder time (it was usually spelled Jana & Marissa). Now that I have a daughter named Ashlyn, it’s a given that we’re not going to be able to find anything that is straight off a rack with her name on it. It’s hard because my boys (Jared & Ryan) have no problem finding stuff for themselves. That’s why when I was asked to do a review for PersonalizedGifts.net, I knew exactly which child I was going to personalize something for! Name Art makes it easy to create something for anyone, regardless of what their name is, because you get to customize just about everything!

Personalizing an item at PersonalizedGifts.net is pretty simple. I took screenshots along the way so I could show you how much fun we had customizing Ashlyn’s name. 1. Choose a theme. Not only are there 8 themes to choose from, each theme has a couple choices to choose from as well. We chose the fairies and decided on the style below (there were 3 fairies to choose from).
2. After you choose the theme you want, the next option tells you that in order to change any of the fairies hair color, skin color, flowers around here & more, you just click on each fairy to change it.
It was a lot of fun to be able to change all the fairies and make them all look different. You could make them all look like the little girl you are customizing this for or do like we did and make them all different. All the themes are like this and it’s create that you can customize the colors to match a kid’s room or their favorite color. 3, Once you are satisfied with your name, you click on the button under “All Done?” and then you will be taken to a page that allows you to decide what gift you want to buy. You can choose from a place mat, stickers, bookmark, poster print, name bar & more!
When Ashlyn’s personalized gifts arrived, she was SO excited. She immediately put her place mat in her spot at the table, grabbed the book she was reading & added her bookmark to it and placed her name bar to the cabinet in her room. We also received a poster print that we will be putting up in her room, we’re just looking to buy a couple more things for her wall first.
The quality is great on all the items. Everything seems like it will last a long time. Ashlyn has been using her place mat for a couple weeks now and it’s incredibly durable and easy to clean up after meals. I plan on buying more for Ryan, my 5 year old so he can customize items for his room.
