Following on the heels of us getting new bedding for our room, Ashlyn’s bed needed a new look as well. Being 10 years old, she wanted something fun but also more grown up then what she previously had. Enter One Grace Place. One Grace Place offers infant & youth bed in a variety of styles. Looking around their website, I noticed that their bedding isn’t like anything I had seen in a store before. It was very different and fun without being over the top. Ashlyn and I sat down together to choose her new bedding and actually had a hard time deciding! There were 4 girl bedroom sets to choose from: Magical Michayla, Sassy Shaylee, Simplicity Hot Pink, and Sophia Lolita. Ashlyn isn’t too fond of pink so she narrowed it down to two & then chose the Sassy Shaylee.
When her new bedding arrived, Ashlyn couldn’t wait until I washed it all and got it on her bed. I love how everything isn’t matchy-matchy (is that a word?) but it all comes together and looks so fresh and fun in her room. I am bummed that with her being on the top bunk, we weren’t able to use the bed skirt. I know that using that would have really finished off the look. But once we got all the sheets on, the comforter & her 2 new pillowcases, she was so excited. Just a note, it’s REALLY hard getting good pictures of a top bunk 
The sheets of this set are a great black & purple stripe. One of the pillowcases matches the sheet set perfectly. The other pillow case (actually a pillow sham with ties in the back) matches the pink, yellow & black of the comforter. Ashlyn loves how thick and comfortable the comforter is. It’s also reversible for a different look. The other side is solid pink framed in yellow.
Ashlyn isn’t a child that likes going to bed at night. However, the first night in her new bedding, she was THRILLED to crawl up into her bed. She’s already asked if I can buy her some of the accessories that match her new bedding. She even loves the matching shower curtain but I’m not sure her 13 year old brother would like that very much.

Well it would be my 10 year old daughter’s choice–but I like the Lolita…I think she will like the Shaylee better though!
