What woman doesn’t love a great looking purse? I have seen so many gorgeous looking handbags out there but when it comes to being functional, they just don’t cut it. With the Holidays approaching, I’m sure you’re thinking of what to get that special someone or maybe what kind of gift you would love to receive for yourself. That’s where Maggie Bags™ comes in.
Maggie Bags™ are handbags that are made from car seat belt webbing. These seat belts are built to meet government safety standards to protect you in your car and since the standards are so high, millions of yards of seat belt material is rejected by car makers each year. Maggie Bags™ is able to use this material that otherwise would be thrown away and use them to make purses, totes and more. Maggie Bags™ remains committed to use the repurposed material whenever they can in their products.
I was asked to review the Cicily Tote by Maggie Bags™. It’s large enough for you, or your lady friend to put all of your (or her) necessities in, but small enough to be oh so cute, which is always important when it comes to bags! The Cicily Bag features the Maggie Bags™ signature lining and inside pockets to put all the small things you need to find easily, without having to empty your purse to find, like your cell phone or keys. It has a zippered pocket, along with a pocket just for your cell, and another for your keys. There are YKK zippers, as well as four nickel plated “feet” on the bottom, so that your purse doesn’t spill if you leave it open at home.
The Cicily Tote comes in several colors. I received the Dark Chocolate, but there is also Cranberry, Lime, Bullet, Clementine, Black, and Tuxedo Combo.
Maggie Bags™ offers a ton of bags and purses, along with Laptop Bags, and you can find the perfect bag on their site for that hard to buy for person on your Christmas list! If you know someone who loves bags, I highly suggest that you give the website a look! I have been super happy with my new purse and can tell that it will last a long time, which is really important to me. I would love to buy another purse in a brighter shade, and possibly a different style like the Campus Tote in Turquoise!
Do you love bags and purses? Do you have a Maggie Bags™ handbag? If so, which one? Let me know in the comments!
