With so many friends in different parts of the country having brand new babies, it’s really making me think back to when I became a Mommy for the first time. My son is going to be 14 next week (OMG, that is still shocking to say & write) and I was only 21 when I had the little booger. He gave us quite a scare, trying to come into the world 8 weeks early. He held off one more week & was born at 33 weeks. Jared was a little thing at 5lb 3oz and was such a wonderful baby. It’s hard to believe he’s going to be 14 next week & is about 5’6″

Over 5lbs for an 8 weeke early baby isnt too terrible, but Im sure there were still difficulties. Mine always come LATE and are huge and hard to get out :/
Sam, the doctors thought he would be about 3 pounds so 5lb was great! My youngest was born at about 39 weeks and was 9lb 2 oz LOL
