I really adore art pieces that are different than what you normally see. When I got the chance to review a print from Affichionado, I jumped at the chance. Affichionado features limited edition literary art prints. I chose the Old Testament print because I thought it would look really pretty in a frame & be a great gift for my Mom. Different words are chosen and printed from the Old Testament and is really interesting to look at. Every time I take a look at the print, I see another word that I didn’t see that last time I looked at it.
Affichionado doesn’t just have prints with text from the Bible though. There are many other pieces that come from some of your favorite books, like Alice in Wonderland, Hamlet, Pride & Prejudice, Little Red Riding Hood, the Declaration on Independence & more. While all the prints feature text taken from a literary piece, each art print is different from the others & has it’s own unique look and feel.
What is also unique is the print itself. Each print is printed on recycled, 300 gr/m2 (high quality), thick, acid free paper. Also, each print is limited. Affichionado only prints a maximum of 450 of any given print; some will only be printed 250 times, so you know you really are getting a limited edition piece.
There are a few things you should know when ordering a print from Affichionado. First, they suggest that when you receive the print in it’s shipping tube, be very careful getting it out of the tube. Don’t pull it out of the tube hard, since the paper will crease. Also, don’t force it into a frame if you ordered it unframed. Since it will be coiled up from the shipping tube, you may have to lay it flat somewhere safe for a day or two. When I received mine, I was able to place it right in the frame without trouble.
Here’s a tip I definitely have to share. When you buy a print from Affichionado, it’s probably a good idea to buy it framed from them. Each print is 24×30 inches & I thought it would be easy to walk into Michael’s and get a frame that size. However, it’s not a standard size that every place carries. I emailed Affichionado and asked them where would be a good place to buy a frame and they suggested I use Frame USA, which is where they buy their frames. The one I bought in cherry was $19.94.
I’m very happy with the print I received from Affichionado and would definitely buy more from them in the future. I also like that fact that you can even get a custom print made for your family or for your business.
Head on over to Affichionado and check out their Limited Edition Literary Print Collection. You can also find & Like Affichionado on Facebook.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

What a great idea! I think something like this would look great on my wall!
I never really thought of having Words as Art on my wall. I’ll keep this in mind when I move into my new apartment 🙂
I think this would be neat to do custom-wise for your family traditions. Also, it’s good to know not to immediately frame them. Not sure that I would have known that laying them flat outside of the frame would be different from flattening them in the frame.
LOVE THEM…sharing with a tweet or two! 🙂
