My family and close friends live at least a good hour to two hours away from me, even my bestie lives across the country. Without technology, we wouldn’t be able to communicate as much as we do or keep up to date on everyone’s lives. Plus, technology also helps keeps me connected with my husband and our older two kids. I’ve shared before that I switched my prepaid phone service over to the Walmart Family Mobile plan. With one of the cheapest Wireless Plans that we’ve been able to find, it made the most sense to switch to save some money and be able to spend that extra money on more important things for my family. For $39.88/mo, I’m getting unlimited talk, text and web so I can stay in touch with my friends and family, do work on the go, map out places I’m traveling to and so much more!
My sister just recently had a new baby boy and since we’re about 80 miles away and my youngest son is still in school, we’ve only been able to go see him once since he was born almost 3 weeks ago. Luckily, I’ve been able to get all kinds of texts & pictures sent to me from my sister so I get to see him almost every day. Of course it’s not the same as holding him & cuddling, but having a reliable cell phone plan from Walmart #FamilyMobile helps to be able to see all the pictures and videos they send me of him and even see how much he’s changed since we saw him on Mother’s Day.
With a 15 year old teenage son & an 11 year old daughter, keeping in touch with them is super important as well. Both of them are homeschooled but they still do activities outside of the house without us that require them to call or text us. Each week, for example, my daughter goes to church and has fun with the junior high crowd. It’s nice to know that when she’s ready to have me come get her, I have reliable service that lets me text back & forth with her. Or, if I head out to the grocery store, my son can text me to ask me about one of his assignments. Knowing that I can rely on my cell phone service to always keep me in touch with my family is huge!
I’ve been nothing but happy with the Walmart Family Mobile plan and plan to switch my husband’s and kid’s phones over as well. For each line that you add to your Family Mobile account (up to 5 lines), you’ll save $5/mo off each one. If you add an Unlimited Talk, Text and Web line onto your account, you’ll only pay $34.88/mo and if you add an Unlimited Talk & Text line, you’ll only pay $24.88/mo! So, not only will you be keep in touch and connecting with your loved ones, you’ll be saving money too! What could be better than that?
