This post brought to you by Walmart. All opinions are 100% mine.
When you think of Christmas, do you think of lots of yummy cookies & homemade treats? I do too, but I’m not what you would call a great baker (not even by a long shot!) When I do want to back or cook though, my first thought is to come online and look to find great tasting (but simple!) recipes to make.
Walmart is making it easier for us to find great holiday cookie recipes, ways to make your favorite coffee drinks, plus great deals on ingredients you will need for your baking & cooking. Not only that, but Walmart has also added how-to videos to help guide you through the Holidays. Walmart carries trusted, quality brands such as Smucker’s®, Jif®, Pillsbury®, Eagle Brand®, Crisco®, Hungry Jack® and Folgers®, so you know you are getting the best quality ingredients, at Walmart’s already great prices.
Another thing that I really like about the Holiday Cookie section on Walmart’s site, is that they have recipes that are delicious & simple but are also inexpensive to make. Want to make cookies that are around $5 a batch? You can make the Chocolate Hazelnut Peanut Butter Pinwheel Cookies (this recipe makes 6 dozen for $5!), Old Fashioned Oatmeal Cookies (2 1/2 dozen per batch) or Cranberry Cashew Chocolate Chip Cookies (makes 2 dozen per batch). That’s a lot of cookies for not a lot of money!
Our favorite way to make cookies is by having the kids help. They love stirring, measuring, adding in chocolate chips & using sprinkles to decorate the cookies. Not only are we making yummy treats for ourselves, we’re also making gifts for friends & neighbors and most importantly, we’re making family memories!
Head on over to Walmart’s Holiday Cookie section to check out all the great tips & recipes for all your Holiday baking & cooking!
