When we moved into our home last June, one of the things that we were most excited about was having a backyard so we could use our BBQ and eat outside in our backyard. It’s something we love doing and my fiancee is great at grilling so it’s a win in our book. But, let’s be honest, there are times when grilling outside just isn’t an option (yes, it happens here in Southern CA too!) When that happens, and we still want to grill, we reach for our Hamilton Beach Indoor Searing Grill.
When we first got our grill, we were so excited to try to out and crossed our fingers that it would work as well as we were hoping. Let me tell you, we were NOT disappointed! We’ve now used it at least 8 times and every time, we’re trying new recipes, new cuts of meat and using techniques to get that grill flavor in the comfort of our own kitchen.
The Indoor Searing Grill is perfect for areas that have cold or rainy weather, where standing out at a grill just wouldn’t be fun at all. It’s also a great tool for people that don’t have space for a grill outside, like in an apartment.
I’m not the greatest when it comes to using our propane grill but with the Indoor Searing Grill, I’m able to cook meat and feel confident about it. The grill really takes the guesswork out of grilling! A light indicates when your grill has reached the desired temperature, there’s an adjustable temperature control and I even feel confident using the searing function, which locks in flavor and juiciness!
I also love that the non-stick cooking plate, drip trap and the removeable hood are ALL dishwasher safe! That to me is probably the biggest plus because our older two kids do the and it’s easy for the to clean up the grill after we use it.
Our grill has seen grilled chicken breasts, tri-tip (this was our favorite way to prepare it), steak, cheeseburgers and hot dogs…and everything has been cooked to perfection! We can’t wait to keep trying new recipes and new cuts of meat on our grill!
