Legos are a well-loved toy and make an exciting party theme! If you’re looking to have guests talking about your Lego party long after it is over, build on the excitement at your party by sending home amazing Lego inspired party favors. Jen Carver, from Spaceships and Laser Beams, is sharing ideas for Lego party favors guests are sure to love!
There are so many fun ways to incorporate the world’s favorite building brick into party favors. I’m excited to share a few ideas with you and I am hopeful they will inspire you to build your own clever favors.
Idea #1: Give the gift of Legos! Help kids build their imaginations and creativity by sending them home with Lego bricks and mini builds. You can buy small party favor packs or take guests to visit a Lego store and let them pick out their own assortment of bricks.
Idea #2: Give Lego shaped crayons and a Lego themed coloring/activity booklet. Did you know that Lego themed molds exist? They do! This means crayons can be created in the shape of Legos and favorite Lego characters. Several printable Lego coloring pages are available online which can be fastened together to create a fun coloring book. Children will have hours of fun coloring with their Lego crayons and book!
Idea #3: Create a Lego inspired storage bucket by adding vinyl face details to a yellow pail or bucket. Fill the bucket with birthday treats and small prizes to be enjoyed at home. Once the bucket is empty, party guests can fill it with their own favorite treasures or use it to store Legos.
Idea #4: Dress up an ordinary chocolate bar to look like a Lego brick. Grab your cardstock or construction paper and a circle punch. Wrap a chocolate bar in a traditional Lego brick color (yellow, green, red, or blue). Using your circle punch, make circles in the same color of paper. Attach the circles to the wrapped candy bar using 3-D foam squares. Guests will love taking home their own edible chocolate “brick”.
Idea #5: Create Lego Man cookies, cake pops or other Lego inspired treats. Cookies can be decorated to look like Lego bricks. Marshmallows can be dipped in yellow candy melts; use an edible marker to add Lego Man facial features. Cupcakes can be topped with candy bricks. Creatively package your Lego treats with a “thank you” tag or topper and delight guests by letting them take home a treat for later!
With a well-planned and executed Lego party favor, appreciation for your party will continue long after the birthday candles have been blown out!
