While cell phones are an important part of our daily lives, having to pay high monthly cell phone bills doesn’t have to be. With 3 kids, only one full-time income & living in San Diego, there isn’t a lot of “extra” money to be spent on a lot of bills. Keeping our cell phones bills low and manageable is a must for us, plus we need unlimited Talk, Text and Data! Finding the lowest priced unlimited plans out there helped us do just that!
A little over a month ago, I switched to Walmart Family Mobile. I had previously been with another company with a prepaid plan & that was definitely the type of plan I wanted to stick with. Being stuck in a one or two year contract just isn’t for us. With the Walmart Family Mobile plan, you either pay $39.88/mo for Unlimited Talk, Text & Web or $29.88/mo for Unlimited Talk & Text. Plus, if you add another line onto your account, you’ll save $5/mo on the additional account (maximum 5 lines). That’s a fantastic way to add your kids, spouse, Mom, Dad, Grandma…anyone onto the already low price plan!
Paying my bill with the plan is really easy too. When it’s time to pay my bill, I get a text message saying what my bill amount is and how to pay it. There are several options…I can dial 611 using my cell phone, pay in store at Walmart (either at the customer service desk or at the Money Center) or by heading to myfamilymobile.com. I love that I am not only saving money each month but it’s easy to pay my bill no matter where I am!
Staying in touch with family is so much easier these days since we all have our phones with us at all times. It’s hard to manage it all while on the go a lot with two kids that are homeschooled, one kiddo in public school, all the household chores that have to get done, plus working here on my blog. I rely on my phone to not only be a phone (but let’s be real…that rarely happens. I am NOT a phone talker!), it’s a way to communicate with friends and family close & far, a camera, a shopping list holder, a GPS system, a holder of my favorite games and so much more.
Did you know you can keep your same cell phone when you switch over to the Walmart #FamilyMobile plan? Wouldn’t that make a fantastic gift for your Mom this Mother’s Day? If she already likes the phone she has, you could switch her over to the Walmart Family Mobile plan and pay for several months. That’s one less bill that Mom will have to pay for awhile! Or if you are in the market for a new phone, Walmart has a lot of choices, too! Iused mine to shop for Mother’s Day flowers and create personalized cards for the Moms in our lives.
